At the age of 49, Elsa Pataky remains a role model for many people, thanks to her unstoppable energy and her incredible physique. But this has not been a matter of luck, but of consistency and a lot of effort. Moreover, after undergoing some biohacking tests to measure her capacity for exertion and recovery, the Spanish actress has revealed an astonishing fact: her biological age is 30. To achieve this, she has been very clear: an iron discipline based on a strategic training regimen, intermittent fasting, nature, and a scientifically formulated supplementation line that she has just brought to market.
Elsa Pataky’s Training Method
To stay in shape, Elsa Pataky works out first thing in the morning five days a week, keeping weekends free to enjoy time with her family. Her routine is well thought out and blends three essential elements: on one hand, she performs strength training three days a week, which is key to caring for and maintaining her muscles strong; on the other hand, she practices Pilates two days a week to strengthen the core and stretch the body well. Additionally, to ensure that her heart and lungs do not lose endurance with the passage of years, she has added the “Norwegian method” to her training. This method is very intense but easy to understand: it consists of doing an exercise such as cycling or rowing at maximum speed for four minutes, until you can’t even speak, then resting four more minutes, and repeating this process four times.
14-Hour Fast and a Protein-Rich Breakfast
Pataky naturally aligns with Australia’s schedule—where she has dinner at 6:30 p.m.—to practice a 14-hour intermittent fast. Her last intake is at 7:00 p.m., and she does not eat again until 9:00 a.m. in the morning. How does she break the fast? “With a hearty breakfast containing protein: eggs mixed with a little vegetables, carbohydrates to have energy, and a slice of bread with olive oil and a pinch of salt.” She even reveals that her children follow this trend.
