One of the most beautiful towns in Spain, Tejeda, located in Gran Canaria, has been chosen as the winner of the «Juntos Brillamos Más 2025» campaign to star in Ferrero Rocher’s Christmas advertisement. The small town, surrounded by iconic peaks such as Roque Nublo and Bentayga, with its appealing proposal for the candidacy, managed to secure this prize.
The campaign places the winning town on the map. Therefore, to star in the advertisement for the well-known brand of chocolates is a major promotional and cultural opportunity for Tejeda.

Tejeda, the Winning Town
The Canarian municipality of Tejeda was proclaimed the winner of the contest organized by the well-known chocolate brand Ferrero Rocher to become the image of its Christmas campaign «Juntos Brillamos Más 2025»; after defeating the Extremaduran town of Fuentes del Maestre in the final.
The official result announcement took place on the night of Sunday, December 14. As stated by the town mayor, Francisco Perera, he expressed his satisfaction with the recognition obtained. He also wished to specially thank the support received from across all the islands. According to those responsible for the campaign to the Town Hall, the long-awaited lighting of Tejeda’s golden illumination will begin on Wednesday, December 17 at 6:00 PM.
The Village’s Campaign
Under the motto «Tejeda, a candy town… the prettiest light of Christmas», the Town Hall presented a promotional video that captured the landscape and its customs. The initiative became a platform for Tejeda to showcase its history and identity. The production company Spa Films was responsible for filming the material with which Tejeda presented itself to the contest.
During the shooting days, various spots in the municipality were transformed into real outdoor studios. The Plaza del Socorro stood out as one of the main filming hubs, while the park next to the municipal pool, recently renovated, offered a polished image. Likewise, Doctor Domingo Hernández Guerra Street, the town’s main thoroughfare, concentrated much of the activity.
How It Reached the Grand Final
For the filming of the advertisement, around fifteen residents of the municipality were selected by the Town Hall to participate as Extras, lending authenticity and a sense of closeness to the scenes. On December 1, Tejeda managed to place itself among the last three contenders, competing for a spot in the final with Cudillero and Fuentes del Maestre. In this decisive phase, citizen mobilization was key, with an intense support campaign spreading across social networks and the media.
On December 8, Tejeda finally reached the grand final alongside the Extremadura town, staying just one step away from being chosen by Ferrero Rocher to star in the brand’s Christmas campaign. The prize consists of the brand gifting the lighting installation.
