Launched at the beginning of November, the Manchester Tech Trust aims to match investors drawn to Manchester with the city’s tech start-ups, in a bid to provide the missing link in the region’s science and technology growth.
Dr Neil McArthur, MBE is the founder of Manchester Tech Trust and Head of Group Innovation for telecommunications firm Talk Talk. A chartered engineer, McArthur received a doctorate from Essex University for his work in telecommunications and in 1992 he was awarded an MBE for his services to engineering.
His passion for both Manchester and the science and technology industry can be seen not only through his work at Manchester Tech Trust, but also in his charitable work with The Hamilton Davies Trust, which provides support to the communities of Irlam and Cadishead.
For your chance to hear Dr McArthur speak about funding and growth in the North West Tech sector, book your tickets for The Great Manchester Business Conference here.
