Vivian Hunt, the managing partner of McKinsey’s UK and Ireland offices will be joining the line up of speakers at this year’s Great Manchester Business Conference.
Hunt has spent over 17 years with McKinsey and currently serves on their global board of Directors, the Firm Values committee and is one of the leaders of the firm’s Women’s Initiatives.
Her passion for equality and diversity in the workplace has spread beyond her role at McKinsey. Outside of the office Vivian serves as a trustee for several charities and business groups, including the UK Black British Powerlist and was previously named most influential black woman in Britain.
Other speakers already confirmed include Sir Howard Bernstein, CEO of Manchester City Council; Nick Donovan, MD of First Transpennine Express and Tony Lloyd, Interim Mayor of Greater Manchester.
Alongside these fantastic speakers are several high profile Manchester’s businesses, all lining up to be part of The Great Manchester Business Conference. The Co-Op Bank announced headline sponsorship last week and will be joining Manchester Metropolitan University, The University of Salford, IQ Polls and Together as sponsors for the event.
