Her passion for equality and diversity in the workplace has spread beyond her role at McKinsey. Outside of the office Vivian serves as a trustee for several charities and business groups, including the UK Black British Powerlist and was previously named most influential black woman in Britain.

Other speakers already confirmed include Sir Howard Bernstein, CEO of Manchester City Council; Nick Donovan, MD of First Transpennine Express and Tony Lloyd, Interim Mayor of Greater Manchester.

Alongside these fantastic speakers are several high profile Manchester’s businesses, all lining up to be part of The Great Manchester Business Conference. The Co-Op Bank announced headline sponsorship last week and will be joining Manchester Metropolitan University, The University of Salford, IQ Polls and Together as sponsors for the event.

Speaking about the developments, pro-manchester Chief Executive John Ashcroft said:

“We’re really pleased to welcome such big name sponsors for the Great Manchester Business Conference this year, plans are well underway with new developments every week and we’re looking forward to working with our partners to deliver a fantastic conference experience”
