Toast PR is celebrating three new Yorkshire hospitality and food client wins with HOME restaurant – which is reimagining the world of fine dining – Côte Brasserie’s launch in Trinity Leeds, and profiling for award-winning chef Jason Hartley, pioneer of a Yorkshire Pudding renaissance and founder of the Daft Puddin’ start-up brand.
HOME restaurant is the creation of Elizabeth Cottam – 2016 MasterChef semi-finalist who has already held two sell-out, five star residencies at The New Ellington in Leeds – and Mark Owens, former head chef of Michelin-starred The Box Tree in Ilkley. Their ‘fine dining, reimagined’ concept for HOME – with a focus on the best of British produce with a welcoming atmosphere – is opening on Kirkgate in Leeds city centre in mid-August with ten, five and three course tasting menus.
Toast PR has been appointed to manage all launch PR activity for HOME including profiling of its creators, with a number of high-profile broadcast opportunities already in the pipeline.
French-inspired restaurant favourite Côte Brasserie has opened its first restaurant in West Yorkshire in Trinity Leeds and has appointed Toast to manage its launch campaign including media, VIP and other influencer targeting. Toast’s appointment to manage the PR for the Leeds restaurant follows on from its successful campaigns for the Parisian-style brasseries in Manchester, Hale and Chester in recent months.
The 188-cover restaurant has opened its doors this month thanks to a £1m investment from Côte Brasserie and is creating more than 40 jobs across its management, service and kitchen teams.
Completing the trio of new foodie clients for Toast PR is Jason Hartley, an award-winning chef who is a passionate spokesperson for the Yorkshire Pudding and believes this truly Northern dish is about to have its moment on the world culinary stage. As a self-styled ‘pudding pioneer’ Jason Hartley is also the founder of the Daft Puddin’ brand and is currently developing a range of products to lead this Yorkshire Pudding renaissance.
Toast PR are working with Jason Hartley as he develops his Daft Puddin’ brand and range including broadcast media appearances and other influencer targeting to support his business and brand objectives.
Julia Mitchell, Managing Director of Toast PR, said: “We are delighted to be working with people who have such passion for their work and their industries, just as we do.
“Hospitality and food are two of our key areas of specialism and the fact that we are continuing to fly the Northern flag with these three new clients just adds the icing on the cake, or the gravy on the pudding – depending on your tastebuds.”
Toast PR’s other clients in the hospitality sector have included Living Ventures, All Star Lanes, Randall & Aubin and Grantley Hall Hotel.
