In the first of our “Mind the Gap!” series focussing on generational issues in the workplace, join Vice Provost, Professor Becky Huxley-Binns in discussion on the characteristics most associated with Generation Y (aka the “Millennials”).
A much maligned demographic, we will consider how best to capture their motivations and learning habits, to take them from (perhaps) a different place than “Gen X” and the “Baby Boomers” have been used to, to the learning outcomes they need to demonstrate.
When it comes to training methods and environment can we ultimately bridge the (generation) gap? This first event is designed to be of interest to anyone who is involved in training the next generation, whether in an education or workplace setting.
